Been a bit!

Mini boost first: Found via vriddy’s Community Thursday (A+ way to find new places to poke around here, btw), findingfriends is a neat community; a lot quieter than addme or addme_fandom, probably because the template is a very thorough questionnaire. Which I like a lot!! I will have to poke around there more some time.

Okay, we now return to your regularly-scheduled… uh, “whatever this person has been doing/thinking about lately.” Yes, that has an excellent ring to it. Very concise.

Unrelatedly to all that, reconfigured my tags the other day; top-level is a catch-all, sub-levels for finer categorization as warranted. Got rid of a bunch of minor groupings that I don’t anticipate using again any time soon (e.g. liveblogs of shows I’m not fannishly into). Also, all these Imgur-hosted pictures are broken links waiting to happen, but I’ll deal with that if/when it happens…. Images posted within this year have alt text (also visible on hover), at least. (later-day edit: ok now there’s hover text, whoops)

Anyway, you can find the main art at the highest resolution (and a lot more ~~unfiltered obsession~~ scribbly nonsense where that came from) on my glorified dump of art and rambling I mean “fansite.” Do heed the spoiler warning, though; it’s a game best played blind ;V

honestly half the reason this is here at all is so I can show off the lines a bit, and also post ^that ~~pretentious~~ moody text I mentioned in the dA caption. Curse dA’s layout overhaul for rendering stylistic HTML (strikethroughs and blockquotes, namely) invisible for no apparent reason >:V

drawing by yours truly — ^Super quick screenshot speedpaint-redraw from this bit, because among all the cool scenery packed into the debut episode alone, the bars here stuck out to me. (The orange-y corners are weird; I’m not sure if that’s intentional or some kind of physical film rot?)

Anyway, the problem with using RGU as a figurative carrot on a stick is that, if it is not sufficiently motivating enough for me to do $otherThings, then both grind to a halt >:V For now, have some additional musings jotted down shortly after the first liveblog, mostly unedited.
